Creating a User Account:
The applicant must have a user account for submitting map application.
Note: If you are a new user, please Click Here for help regarding the registration.
 
Points to Remember:
Before proceeding further, please make the following documents/information ready, which is required to fill the application form,
  • Photograph of all applicant(s).
  • Proposed Building Plan in Autocad format.
  • Duly Signed Colored scanned map(Proposed) in pdf format ( Take printout of the map, applicant and architect both
    should sign and scan it for uploading).
  • Scanned copy of previously sanctioned map (if required).
  • Ownership Documents (Mutation/Registry/Deed’s/Assessment etc).
  • Any other Documents (if required).
Map Submission Form:
Step 1: Go to online map submission form by clicking 'Map Submission Form' in 'Online Map' menu.

Step 2: 'Map Submission Form' will appear, fill the required information.

Step 3: Please fill the details of your map in the 'Map Details' Section of the form.
Note:
  • Please select 'Plan Type' of the map. For example if the applicant is submitting their map for the first time, select 'New Submission' from the options in 'Plan Type'.
  • Please select 'Property Category' of the map. For example if the applicant's property category is residential, select 'Residential' from the options in 'Property Category'.
  • Please select 'Site Purpose' of the map. For example if the applicant's place of residence is not for business purposes, select 'Single Dwelling Unit' from the options in 'Property Category'.
    Single Dwelling Unit - Single-family detached home.
    Multi Dwelling Unit - Multi-family residential.
    Group Housing - Development of flatted blocks/group of residential on plot/land.
  • Please select 'Area' of the map. For example if your map area is located in hill side, select 'Hill' from the options in 'Area'.
Step 4: Please fill the details of the applicant in 'Applicant Details' section of the form.
Step 5: Please fill the contact details of the applicant in 'Contact Details' section of the form.
Step 6: Please fill the building details of the applicant in 'Building Details' section of the form.
Step 7: Please fill requirement details of the map in 'Bye-Laws' section of the form.
Note:
  • 'Net Plot Area (sq.m)' will be automatically calculated based on the data given for 'Total Plot Area (sq.m)' and 'Road Widening Area (sq.m)'.
  • 'Floor Area Ratio' will be automatically calculated based on the data given for 'Proposed Covered Area (sq.m)'
Step 8: After filling the information click on the ‘Save’ button, alert box will appear containing Map Reference number.

Step 9: After saving the application, please do not forget to upload the applicant's photograph.
Step 10: If there is more than one applicant, fill the details separately by clicking on the ‘Add Co-Applicants’ button.
 
Attachments:
Step 1: After saving the form, attach all the relevant documents (map/deed/registry etc) by clicking on the ‘Attachment' button, checklist screen will appear.

Step 2: For attaching different type of the documents, click on the icon under the ‘Attachment‘ column of the checklist table, attachments screen will appear.

Step 3: Click on the browse button and select the file to attach. After selecting the file, click on the ‘Add’ button, selected file will be attached along with the form.

Step 4: If the applicant wishes to delete an attachment then check the attachment and click on the 'Delete' button.

Submission of Map:
Step 1: Once all the documents are attached and photograph(s) is/are uploaded, submit the application by clicking on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 2: After submission an alert box will appear (please note your application number for future references). You will receive an e-mail/sms, once the Map Application is submitted successfully.

Payment :
Step 1: After submission, applicant will have to pay the submission fee. Click on the ‘Pay Now’ button, payment screen will appear.

Step 2: There are two ways for making the payment,
  (i) Payment through MDDA Counter.
  (ii) Online Payment (Credit/Debit card).
Step 3: For payment through MDDA Counter, select ‘MDDA Counter‘ option as shown in the previous screen and click on the 'Close' button. Visit MDDA office and make the payment against the reference number[You can pay either through cash or DD].
Step 4:

For online payment, select the 'Online Payment' option. Payment screen will appear. Select credit card/debit card option and click on the ‘Pay Online’ button.

Note: service charges applicable for Credit/Debit card.

Step 5: Payment gateway screen will appear, follow the instructions and make the payment. Once payment is made, file will be submitted to MDDA for further processing.

Step 6: Applicant will get sms/e-mail about the status of the Map Application submitted.
Step 7: Applicant may also check the status of the application on www.mddaonline.in after logging into account and clicking on 'My Application status' in 'Online Map' menu.
 
Application Status:
Step 1: Click on 'My Application Status' in 'Online Map' menu, 'My Application Status' screen will appear.

Step 2: In case of incomplete information or any correction required, the applicant will get sms/mail alerts, upon receiving the alert please visit www.mddaonline.in, logging to your account, provide the necessary information by clicking on the Map Reference Number.
Step 3: Once all the formalities are completed and map is duly approved, applicant will get sms/mail regarding map approval charges (Development charges/ supervision charges/ sub division charges/ compounding fee/ stacking fee/ Eco fee etc) as applicable.
Step 4: If the status of an application remains in 'Pay now' then refer payment process.
Step 5: You can also check the details of your map by clicking the Map Reference Number.
 
Info Required:
Step 1: After submitting the application, upon scrutiny if MDDA finds out that there are some additional information required or the information provided in application are not complete/satisfactory, MDDA will mention the status of the application as 'Info Required'.

Step 2: When applicant goes online and finds out the status mentioned as 'Info Required' or receives an Email/SMS from MDDA with the subject as 'Info Required' the applicant should click on 'Info Required' to see the remarks given by MDDA.

Step 3: The information asked for may be related to the Map Details, Applicant Details, Building Details or the Technical details, Or issues with attachments.  
Step 4: The applicant should select the application id to provide the necessary information and re-submit the map application for further processing.

Appeal Against Rejection:
Step 1: If the map gets rejected, the applicant can appeal against it by using the option, 'Appeal Against Rejection' screen in 'Online Map' menu.

Step 2: Select the corresponding Map Reference Number to populate the Map details. Fill the 'Remarks' field and click on the 'Submit' button.

Step 3: After pressing 'Ok' button, payment screen will appear.

Step 4: Click on the 'Pay Online' button to make the payment. Payment gateway screen will appear, follow the instructions and make the payment[Appeal Fee/Charges will be 50% of the submission fee].

Plan Type The type of the map submitted which can be New Submission, Re-openning, Self-compounding or Addition/Alteration.
Property Category The type of the property going to be construct which can be Residential, Non-Residential, Layout Plan or Mixed Use.
Site Purpose Purpose of the site.
Total No. of dwelling units The total number of dwelling units.
Area Choose the area where the applicant wants to construct.

Technical Vs. Proposed Requirement
Total Plot Area (sq.m) An Area of ground used for building purpose.
Road Widening Area (sq.m) Distance between the road and Site area.
Net Plot Area (sq.m) Difference between the total plot area and road widening area.
Proposed Covered Area (sq.m) The size of the area proposed for construction.
Front Setback (m) A zoning regulation stating how far back from the front of your property line a structure or planting should be.
Rear Setback (m) A zoning regulation stating how far back from the back of your property line a structure or planting should be.
Right Setback (m) A zoning regulation stating how far back from the right of your property line a structure or planting should be.
Left Setback (m) A zoning regulation stating how far back from the left of your property line a structure or planting should be.
Ground Coverage (%) The size of ground covered for the construction.
Floor Area Ratio The ratio of a building's total floor area (Gross Floor Area) to the size of the piece of land upon which it is built.
Building Height (m) The building height is the vertical distance from the average elevation of the proposed finished grade along the wall of a building.
Basement Area (sq.m) The sub-structure or foundation of a building.
Existing Covered Area (sq.m) It denotes existing size of the area covered.
Frontage/Width of Land (m) Width of the land in meters.
Depth/Length of Land (m) Depth of the land in meters.
No. of Floors (Including Ground Floor) Number of floors to be constructed.
Parking (ECS) Mention the Equivalent Car Space.
Stilt Area Stilt area is the area just blow the building for the purpose of parking.
Distance from Main Road (m) The distance between the building and main road.
Width of Approach Road (m) Mention the width of Approach road in meters.
Width of Front Road (m) Mention the width of front road in meters.
